Simply Sharing Week is coming around again! Simply Sharing Week is encouraging Australians to ensure that children at risk worldwide have access to healthcare and a nutritious diet. The theme for this year is to ‘Help Kids Get Off to a Good Start’.

QLD: Photographic exhibition Brisbane: 9 -11 May 2008
Hamish Cairns has just returned from Cambodia where through the lens of his camera he "saw the face of God, in the eyes of the children of Cambodia". He and fellow photographer Gavin Brown are holding a photo exhibition, week-end 9 -11 May, of their works with all proceeds going to Caritas' work in Cambodia for children affected by HIV/Aids. The famous War (Vietnam and Cambodian Wars) Correspondent Photographer Tim Page will speak at the opening which is being held on Friday night, 9 May, at the Francis Rush Centre. There is a $5 entry fee and there will be drinks and nibbles, the photo show to view, and a short talk and film by Tim Page on the clearing of land mines in Cambodia. WA: The Road to Hope and Sunflowers in Lira: A journey to the heart of Uganda photographic exhibition, Perth, May – June 2008
In 2007 a team from the University of Notre Dame and Caritas Australia took a life changing journey through the heart of Uganda. They returned with extraordinary stories of challenge and hope, despair and victory, war and peace, Ebola, and how their lives were changed while journeying through a country with one amazing set of road rules. As a culmination of their journey they have put together an amazing photographic exhibition which is being held at the School of Arts and Sciences Notre Dame University ND 24 Croke St Fremantle for the next few months.
