Prayer

God of Grace, we recognise that it takes effort and will, from everybody; from governments to individuals; from Indigenous and non–Indigenous alike, to change the situation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. We recognise that unless we unite, with a common will, a poverty of spirit will afflict the entire nation.

Over 1,500 kids and their teachers from both Primary and Secondary schools attended this day Mrs Janeen Murphy from Caritas Australia explained that “the idea was to give kids a 'taste' of things that they could organise and promote back in their own school communities in order to highlight the issue of  Reconciliation. We had: face painting, mosaics, story telling, letter writing to the PM, spruikers corner, reflections, labrynth walks, graffiti boards, etc.” To take a look at photos from the day go to. More...
