Switch to Green Power
In Australia 80% of our electricity is generated by burning coal, a factor which significantly contributes to greenhouse gas pollution. If all Australians switched today to energy produced by sun, wind, water and waste (Green Power), Australia's total greenhouse pollution would be cut by 30%. That's the equivalent of more than 40 million cars! Can we afford not to act?

Church Resources is currently offering everyone access to Australia's cheapest 100% accredited Green Power. To be part of this bulk purchase, or to find out more about Green Power call: Mark McManus at Church Resources on 1300 CHURCH (248 724) or
E-mail mmcmanuus

Live simply AND be cool and glamorous!
Why not hold a "B-Worn Again" fashion show, presenting and auctioning glamorous and trendy second hand clothing, collected from op shops around your town or city? That's exactly what students in the UK did to help raise funds for our Caritas collegues at Cafod www.bigdeal.cafod.org.uk

These students wanted to show the throw-away nature of our 'spend, spend' society. Using only 'second hand' finds at the event they proved we can recycle clothes as well as household waste - and look great too! Why not hold a similar event at your own school, community, or university.
