On Tuesday 27th February, the University of Notre Dame in Fremantle WA will be hosting an evening with Bishop Peter Remigius.
Bishop Remigius is the Bishop of Kumbakonam in South India and currently the Chairperson of Caritas India. He is an eloquent and knowledgeable speaker who will be taking on his own experiences in shifting the capacity building objectives of development partners regionally and locally in India and throughout Asia from a charity model to a development model. QLD: Conference to Engage Catholics on Climate Change
The Archdiocesan Justice and Peace Commission is collaborating with the Social Action Office of the Conference of Leaders of Religious Institutes Queensland (CLRIQ) to hold a conference which aims to engage Catholics in a commitment to action on climate change.

TV: History is never bloodless” A new Documentary by Richard Frankland
In the early 1830’s near a Whalers station in Victoria, men women and children of the Kilckurt Gilga clan were massacred at a place soon to be known as The Convincing Ground.
Internationally acclaimed Indigenous writer/director Richard J. Frankland has created a two part documentary for MESSAGE STICK ABC TV which examines events surrounding what many regard as the first documented major massacre in Victoria.
The Convincing Ground Part 1will be repeated at 6:00pm Sunday 25th February. The Convincing Ground Part 2 will be shown at 6:00pm Monday 26th February, 2007 - repeated Sunday 4th March. More...
